International Students
The Palm Tree School is pleased to accept and issue I-20 to qualified international students from around the world who would like to study in the United States.
The Palm Tree School accepts international students from Kindergarten to 12th Grade.

1. Apply
Complete and submit the Admission Application.
Submit the non-refundable application fee of $200 per student.
You may submit your application before the birth certificate and applicable prior-school records are ready. These documents are required to complete your admissions file before review can begin.
2. Complete Your Admissions File
Copy of passport.
A copy of your child’s birth certificate. Bring the original to the enrollment interview; please do not mail it.
Parent/guardian financial statements.
Signed Student Records Release Form for the student's current school.
Transcripts of grades and standardized test scores.
Teacher recommendations for Grades 7–12: two completed forms, one from the current English teacher and one from the current math teacher. Separate letters are not required. An additional recommendation is optional. View online and PDF recommendation forms.
A parent or guardian should complete Sections 1–3, sign the form, and give it to the student’s current school principal, school counselor, or registrar.
Certified school records must be sent directly by the current or previous school to Palm Tree School by mail or secure transfer. Contact Admissions for secure-transfer instructions.
3. Evaluation & Admission Decision
Admissions evaluation for I-20/F-1 applicants: $250. Application and evaluation: $450 total.
Evaluation payments are accepted at the school office by cash, check, or cashier’s check. Contact the school office to arrange your evaluation.
Interviews may be conducted in person or online. We are unable to accommodate interviews without a prior appointment. Please contact the Admission Office to schedule your interview.
Acceptance is based on many factors, including but not limited to, the student’s academic performance and standardized test scores from previous schools, the student’s teacher recommendation, school records, and the availability of space in the grade to which the student is applying.
Students may be required to come to the Palm Tree School for additional testing if there is a question regarding the student’s ability.
4. After Acceptance
Once the application is processed and the student is accepted, the family must return the signed Enrollment Contract and the enrollment packet, along with the student's tuition and fees.
